Frozen Birthday Cake

Frozen. My 4 year old is totally obsessed. And apparently, so is every other girl in the world. This makes it slightly difficult to find birthday presents for the kid. Since every other mother is trying to find the exact stuff as I am. Rant: I had to have my friend, who was on vacation in Disney World with her 3 boys, go searching for an Elsa dress up dress. Let's just say her boys were not happy with me. And I seriously got lucky to be able to find the figures for this cake. But, it turned out beautifully and I had a happy little birthday girl! This tiered cake is 8" and 6" French vanilla marble with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Mickey Mouse Cupcakes

Can I just tell you how bad these little guys make me want to jump on a plane and head off to Disneyland? I love that place! These are chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream.

BYU Cake

I talked about the college football rivalry we have here in the great state of Utah when I posted the Utah Utes cake. This is the other half of the rivalry, the BYU Cougars. Here's hoping my blog doesn't implode on itself with both these cakes in one place! The 8" tier is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream and fondant, and the 6" tier is French vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fondant. Go Cougs!

Reindeer Cupcakes

I did these little guys with the activity days girls in my ward. They are super fun, super easy, and super cute! They are a chocolate fudge cupcake, chocolate buttercream with a Nilla wafer, M&Ms, and pretzels to make up the face.

Hershey chocolate cupcakes

Maybe you're sensing a theme, but I'm kind of a chocolate fan. These cupcakes? Heaven! They are chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream, topped with chocolate sprinkles and a Hershey's square.

Mustaches and a Soccer Ball

My daughter, she is one of a kind. Her cake request for her birthday was orange, mustaches, and soccer balls. And I was not allowed to get any ideas from Pinterest (I cheated a little). But trust me, there was nothing quite like this on Pinterest! This cake is definitely as unique as she is! The bottom tier is 8" Devil's food with vanilla buttercream and fondant, and the top is a 6" half sphere Devil's food with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Power Rangers Birthday Cake

Go go Power Rangers! These guys were big when my brothers were growing up. I had no idea they were still around! This 8" cake is devil's food with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Princess Belle Dress

Oh my princess! This is about as frilly and girly as it gets. And look at that bling! The birthday girl could have died, she was in princess heaven! The 10" tier is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream and fondant, and the 8" tier is confetti vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Blue and Orange Zebra Stripes

I love funky colors! These zebra stripes are so fun and bold! And the polka dots are a great compliment. Perfect for the 11 year old tween who was celebrating a birthday. This 8" and 6" tiered cake is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Double Double Toil and Trouble!

These beauties were for a family Halloween party. They are Devil's food/orange colored French vanilla marble with marshmallow filling, vanilla buttercream, and fondant witch hats.

Owl Smash Cake

Honestly, this cake! I can"t get over the adorableness of it! (That's a word, right?) The colors turned out perfect. And that owl! If it had cheeks, I would squeeze them! This was the first time I had tried the petal design on the side of the cake, and I really loved the look. I will definitely do it again! This 6" smash cake is French vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fondant details.

It's Great to be 8 Cupcakes

These were for a baptism preview in our ward. They would be perfect for a baptism luncheon also! Chocolate fudge cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and fondant toppers.

Super Heroes

This cake has all the big names: Captain America, Spiderman, Superman, Batman, and Robin. With a lineup like that, no villan would dare crash this birthday party! This 8" and 6" tiered cake is French vanilla with chocolate buttercream and fondant.

Monster Trucks!

This birthday boy is obsessed with monster trucks and Grave Digger! So this cake was perfect for him. He wanted a rainbow cake, so I colored the French vanilla batter to make lots of different colors. Chocolate buttercream was perfect for our monster truck stadium and fondant details added the perfect finishing touch. Don't forget your ear plugs!

White Baptism Cake

I made this cake for my daughter's baptism into our church. It was a very special occasion for her and our family. She wanted something big and beautiful and perfect. I think it turned out gorgeous! This 10", 8", 6" tiered cake is a mixture of french vanilla, chocolate fudge, and strawberry marble with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Buttercream Ballons

Every birthday party needs some balloons! These ones just happen to be in frosting form! This classic 8" birthday cake is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream.

Train O-N-E Cake

This lucky little one year old got 3 cakes! Initially, the design of this cake was going to be a number 1 carved out. But when mom delivered this adorable wooden train to chug around the cake, it was too big! So we shifted our focus a little and came up with this birthday cake. I think it would make any conductor proud! It is made up of 10" squares and rounds. Yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant details.

Ninjago

I have 4 girls. So when I got this order for a Ninjago cake I knew I needed to do some research. I had honestly never heard of Ninjago in my life! My days are filled with princesses and playing dress up and painting fingernails. So when my daughters found me sitting on the couch watching a ninja cartoon, they fled to their dad for saftey. Mom had obviously flipped her lid. But it was all worth it to make the little ninja birthday boy happy! This 8" cake is devil's food cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Hawaiian Luau

Aloha! This cake makes me want to run to the nearest white, sandy beach I can find! This cake was for a luau themed sweet 16 birthday party. This 10" and 8" tiered cake is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Rustic Vanilla Wedding Cake

Not only does this bride love her chocolate, but she loves her groom too. And her groom loves his vanilla. So she let him have his very own vanilla cake. The two (cakes and the couple) looked absolutely beautiful side by side at their Snowbasin venue. This 10" and 8" tiered cake is French vanilla with vanilla buttercream.
