Cincinnati Bengals Cake
Apparently 11 year old boys like sports? I wouldn't really know since I have all girls. But I have an 11 year old tom boy who likes sports, so I guess this makes sense. This birthday boy's favorite football team is the Cincinnati Bengals. That was the only direction I was given and what size of cake he wanted. I had fun coming up with the design for this, which changed about 3 times. I wanted to do a football helmet and football on top out of modeling chocolate. Then the weather decided to be 75 degrees and my chocolate was way too soft to model anything. I did try my hand at painting for the first time. The bengal is all hand painted by moi. This tiered cake is 8", 6" French vanilla/chocolate fudge marble with chocolate pudding filling, vanilla buttercream, and covered in fondant.

Lemon Raspberry Cupcakes
I'm really loving playing with flavor combinations in cupcakes! I am doing this flavor combination for a wedding in June, so I thought I would do some practicing. These were for a fundraiser, perfect time to practice and play with flavors! The cake is lemon flavored with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. Topped with a raspberry and white chocolate curls.
Monster Truck Cake, 1/4 sheet
This is a smaller version of the monster truck cake I did last December. It's 1/4 sheet size instead of 1/2 sheet. Hopefully the birthday boy won't be eating cake for the entire month of his birthday this time!

Bubble Guppies
This cake turned out so adorable! I wasn't sure at first how it was going to look. I couldn't get a picture in my head of the design. The actual Bubble Guppies cakes I had seen weren't helping me at all. Then I did a search for under the sea cakes and found some cute stuff! I had a lot of fun with this one. And I loved this cupcake pan! I think I'll be using it a lot in the future! This tiered cake is 10', 8', and 6' cupcake. The 10' tier is chocolate fudge/French vanilla marble with raspberry buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream/fondant icing. The 8' and cupcake tiers are confetti cake with raspberry buttercream filling and vanilla buttercream/fondant icing. Decorations are candy melt molds and fondant. Characters are bath squirters.

Snickers Cupcakes
This frosting may well be the death of me. Not even kidding, it is so good! These babies are chocolate fudge with Snickers buttercream and Snickers sprinkled on top. You can thank me for introducing you later.
