This was actually one of two cakes at this wedding.  The groom wanted a vanilla cake with buttercream frosting and 

the bride wanted chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. So we compromised and made two!

And this one is the bride's all chocolate cake. A girl has to have her chocolate on her special day!

Cinnamon Roll Wedding Cake

The bride is not a fan of cake, so she asked for a cinnamon roll cake instead. She found some examples online for me to work from. 

I did some drop lines and small rosettes on the sides of the tiers and large rosettes on the top of the cake.
