Stargazer Lily Rustic Wedding Cake
I'll apologize for these pictures now. They were taken in the dark with a flash. I had to do some editing to try and reduce the glare, but it's still pretty bad! This is a 9" and 6" square strawberry/lemon marble cake with vanilla buttercream and fresh stargazer lilies.

Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!
Confession time: I have never heard of these books or this author before. So when my friend sent me a picture of this cake and told me what she wanted, I was confused. I was thinking 'Okay, a pigeon cake. It's cute, but that's kind of a weird theme.' Then she told me it was based on a book, and let me borrow it to help me catch the vision. Holy cow, it is so cute! If you haven't read these, do yourself and your kids a favor and head to your local library to check these out. They are so much fun! This is a 10" almond poppyseed cake with chocolate pudding filling, vanilla buttercream, and fondant decorations.

This little smash cake was fun! This was my first time trying buttercream ruffles, and they were so fast and fun and easy! This is a 6" strawberry smash cake with vanilla buttercream.

Baseball Diamond Cake
I made this cake for my daughter's softball team. They had an end of season party and they had a fantastic season! It was a great party with splash pads and squirt guns and lots of food! The cake was 4 8"x8" squares put together and carved into a baseball diamond. Then a 6" half sphere for the baseball. The cake was chocolate fudge with chocolate buttercream and fondant details.

Rustic Wedding and Cupcakes
I'd been planning and prepping for this wedding for quite a while. And stressing over it, I might add. I was thrilled with the end results. And this bride's venue just brought everything together beautifully! Absolutely perfect! The cake is 10" & 8" triple stacked lemon cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream and fresh flowers. 5 dozen cupcakes are French vanilla with vanilla buttercream (coral colored), and 5 dozen cupcakes are lemon with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream (lemon colored).

Monster Truck Cake, 1/4 sheet
This is a smaller version of the monster truck cake I did last December. It's 1/4 sheet size instead of 1/2 sheet. Hopefully the birthday boy won't be eating cake for the entire month of his birthday this time!

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish
From the world of Dr. Seuss! I love the author, and love his books! But I won't lie. I've seen the fun, creative, topsy turvy cakes and the intricate designs. And I was terrified. Luckily this was just a smash cake. We'll save the paralyzing fear for a different day. This smash cake was for the same little guy who got the Cat in the Hat smash cake (I'm sensing a theme here), but this one was for his birthday party. It's a 6" chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant details. Those 5 little fish are all hand painted and turned out fabulous!
Cat in the Hat Smash Cake
This cake was too fun! It was a little bit of a challenge because it was all buttercream, except for the name and the 1 on top. So I got to practice my buttercream smoothing skills! This is a 6" round chocolate fudge cake with vanilla buttercream.

Owl Smash Cake
Honestly, this cake! I can"t get over the adorableness of it! (That's a word, right?) The colors turned out perfect. And that owl! If it had cheeks, I would squeeze them! This was the first time I had tried the petal design on the side of the cake, and I really loved the look. I will definitely do it again! This 6" smash cake is French vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fondant details.
It's Great to be 8 Cupcakes
These were for a baptism preview in our ward. They would be perfect for a baptism luncheon also! Chocolate fudge cupcakes with vanilla buttercream and fondant toppers.
Buttercream Ballons
Every birthday party needs some balloons! These ones just happen to be in frosting form! This classic 8" birthday cake is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream.
Train O-N-E Cake
This lucky little one year old got 3 cakes! Initially, the design of this cake was going to be a number 1 carved out. But when mom delivered this adorable wooden train to chug around the cake, it was too big! So we shifted our focus a little and came up with this birthday cake. I think it would make any conductor proud! It is made up of 10" squares and rounds. Yellow cake with vanilla buttercream and fondant details.
Hawaiian Luau
Aloha! This cake makes me want to run to the nearest white, sandy beach I can find! This cake was for a luau themed sweet 16 birthday party. This 10" and 8" tiered cake is chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream and fondant.

Rustic Vanilla Wedding Cake
Not only does this bride love her chocolate, but she loves her groom too. And her groom loves his vanilla. So she let him have his very own vanilla cake. The two (cakes and the couple) looked absolutely beautiful side by side at their Snowbasin venue. This 10" and 8" tiered cake is French vanilla with vanilla buttercream.

Rustic Chocolate Wedding Cake
Brides who love their chocolate hold a soft spot in my heart. And this bride was looking for a cake that made everyone who saw it want to swipe their finger through that thick chocolate frosting! This bride and I must surely be kindred spirits. This 10" and 8" tiered cake is chocolate through and through. Chocolate fudge cake, chocolate pudding filling, and chocolate buttercream. Mmmm, yummy!

Black Utah Utes
We did the same basic design as the red Utah Utes cake on this one, but went with a blackout theme instead. The birthday boy is not a fan of fondant, so this 8" chocolate fudge is frosted in chocolate buttercream with fondant designs.
