Baseball Diamond Cake
I made this cake for my daughter's softball team. They had an end of season party and they had a fantastic season! It was a great party with splash pads and squirt guns and lots of food! The cake was 4 8"x8" squares put together and carved into a baseball diamond. Then a 6" half sphere for the baseball. The cake was chocolate fudge with chocolate buttercream and fondant details.

Nega Maluca
This cake was for my husband's birthday. He spent some time in Brazil and always talks about this cake. He's been begging me to make nega maluca for a few years now. He even found a recipe in Portugese and translated it for me. So I decided to try it this year for him. It looked pretty, but it needs some more practice.

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cupcakes
More fundraising. More flavor experimenting. More heaven in a cup! These are strawberry cake and chocolate buttercream topped with a strawberry and drizzled with white chocolate. See I told you, heaven!
Monster Truck Cake, 1/4 sheet
This is a smaller version of the monster truck cake I did last December. It's 1/4 sheet size instead of 1/2 sheet. Hopefully the birthday boy won't be eating cake for the entire month of his birthday this time!

Reindeer Cupcakes
I did these little guys with the activity days girls in my ward. They are super fun, super easy, and super cute! They are a chocolate fudge cupcake, chocolate buttercream with a Nilla wafer, M&Ms, and pretzels to make up the face.
Hershey chocolate cupcakes
Maybe you're sensing a theme, but I'm kind of a chocolate fan. These cupcakes? Heaven! They are chocolate fudge with vanilla buttercream, topped with chocolate sprinkles and a Hershey's square.
Monster Trucks!
This birthday boy is obsessed with monster trucks and Grave Digger! So this cake was perfect for him. He wanted a rainbow cake, so I colored the French vanilla batter to make lots of different colors. Chocolate buttercream was perfect for our monster truck stadium and fondant details added the perfect finishing touch. Don't forget your ear plugs!

Rustic Chocolate Wedding Cake
Brides who love their chocolate hold a soft spot in my heart. And this bride was looking for a cake that made everyone who saw it want to swipe their finger through that thick chocolate frosting! This bride and I must surely be kindred spirits. This 10" and 8" tiered cake is chocolate through and through. Chocolate fudge cake, chocolate pudding filling, and chocolate buttercream. Mmmm, yummy!

Shaggy Mum Cupcakes
Mmmm, cupcakes! Chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting make life worth living, right?
Add some fun shaggy mums and all is right with the world.
Bookworms unite!
My dear daughter, bless her heart, is always volunteering me for things. The school librarian was retiring and my daughter's teacher wanted to do something special for her from the class. One of her classmate's mother was taking the same cake class as I was at the time, and the little dears volunteered us to make cake for the occasion. After we had been decorating cakes for about 1 week. Talk about baptism by fire! I made an 8" french vanilla cake with chocolate pudding filling and chocolate buttercream for the librarian to take home to her family and the other mom made a great big sheet cake for the entire class. I'm pretty sure I got the better end of the deal!

Summer Lovin'
Ah summer! This time of year, I'm seriously craving my flip flops! Nothing against winter and hoodies and hot chocolate, but I'm ready for a change in season. This 8" round cake is french vanilla with chocolate pudding filling and chocolate buttercream.
